After Henri's tennis tournament, we went to Garage Collective’s Lap One Anniversary Party. Despite being late to the event, many cars were still on display (inside and on the street).
The crowd outside was spread out, so we were able to get our shots without waiting.
Inside, Henri made his way to the Racing Simulators to test his skills on the track. Afterward, we explored 25,000 square-foot facility that has storage for 50+ sports cars (including supercars, exotics, and JDMs), a car photo booth, a vintage rental fleet, racing simulators, meeting spaces, a podcast studio, a retail store, and a relaxing lounge (Member’s Only).
The venue is incredible. The vibe was chill. The car owners were welcoming. The owner of a BMW M3 let Henri start his first (Thank you, Christian). And the Garage Collective team were gracious hosts.
"A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step."
This was the first event Henri and I covered together. We split the work so we could double the yield.
We planned to use the materials collected to make our first YouTube Video.
The learning curve was higher than I expected. But with a “done is better than perfect” philosophy, we “made this” video.
Henri used an iPhone 13 Pro for photography. And I used a Sony Alpha ZV-EV10 with Sony E 15mm F1.4 G for making video clips.
